About The Position
As a GIS subject matter expert, you will play a crucial role in identifying the right analysis tools for various geospatial problems. Your innovative solutions will not only address these challenges but also inspire others about the transformative power of GIS technology. At Esri, our Geo Experience Solution Engineers are integral members of a highly skilled team dedicated to shaping strategies for the effective adoption and use of Esri technologies. You will have the opportunity to leverage your problem-solving skills and passion for geospatial technology to become a vital part of the Geo Experience Center. This role involves presenting and demonstrating geospatial solutions and capabilities to executives and strategic customers during their visits to the Esri-Redlands campus. We are seeking individuals who are natural evangelists, eager to identify and promote strategies, and demonstrate solutions that can significantly enhance how organizations tackle their challenges. In this position, you will collaborate closely with Esri's senior leadership team and participate in executive briefings, showcasing your expertise and the value of our technologies. Your responsibilities will include building relationships, storytelling, and effectively presenting and demonstrating Esri software and solutions as part of the GeoXC team. You will need to design demonstrations tailored for both technical and non-technical customers, ensuring that the value of our offerings is clearly communicated. As a technical expert in ArcGIS, you will develop a deep understanding of its components, spatial analysis, cartography, and IT infrastructure, allowing you to engage confidently with customers and anticipate their needs. Your role will also involve proactively crafting and proposing solutions that highlight how GIS can deliver business value, aligning Esri technology with customer business strategies. You will be expected to understand spatial problem-solving, break down complex issues, and seek multiple solutions while integrating new concepts and trends into your approach. Additionally, you will present technical demonstrations of proposed solutions in various settings, from intimate executive briefings to larger conferences, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience with Esri technology.
