About The Position

The Solution Engineer is responsible for delivering professional solutions to business stakeholders by translating business process requirements into a technical solution through design implementation, testing, and training.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to effectively manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload; effectively communicates project delays to management team and proactively seeks additional customer project work

  • Strong knowledge of business analysis and documenting functional requirements
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of object oriented programming languages such as C#, Apex or Python
  • Up to 5% travel time

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype and build complex business solutions following best practices to meet business needs based on feedback from stakeholders
  • Safeguard the security, integrity and confidentiality of the company's internal systems and data by following company security protocols
  • Test complex business solutions and ensure performance is optimal and resolve any issues; advise business customer on testing practices
  • Document complex solutions to allow support team to support business customers and for easy maintenance; transition key information to support team; compose training materials and conduct training sessions; provide guidance to team members as needed
  • Influence on standards and processes of team and events, including project planning, work estimation, coordination of project resources, control timeline and scope, solution demos, reviews, and implementation design discussions
  • Lead business analysis to gather information about complex business process and customer needs from key business stakeholders
  • Develop plan for migration of complex business solutions into environments and support stakeholders throughout migration process
  • Compose the documentation and presentation of complex business analysis and solutions requirements to key stakeholders for validation and approval
  • Make recommendations for internal process improvements based on an understanding of business, application, and development tasks; lead the identification and evaluation of enhancements to evolve product and solution functionality
  • May mentor, coach and train other team members
