Position Summary: This dynamic role is integral to the sales process, supporting both new and existing clients and athenahealth’s Sales team, all sales divisions. The Solution Design Manager is the primary pre-sale teammate responsible for articulating the value (ROI) of athenahealth’s products and services. This role requires approximately 70% travel annually. The Solution Design Manager will report directly to the Client Solutions Group Director, playing a critical role in connecting business needs with innovative technology solutions. Team Summary: The Client Solutions Group (CSG) is integral to athenahealth’s success, working collaboratively with Sales and Customer Success teams to formulate and execute strategic initiatives for prospects and clients. This team conducts thorough due diligence to define minimum business requirements spanning information management strategies, patient engagement, and operational workflows (both clinical and revenue cycle). The group is responsible for crafting and delivering compelling presentations and proposals that emphasize athenahealth’s distinct value propositions. With accountability for setting achievable ROI expectations, the SD fosters partnerships that align technology innovation with business outcomes, ensuring client goals are met effectively and efficiently.
