About the position

Individuals in this position are technical experts who support the sales process by demonstrating Hexagon solutions to meet customer needs and desired business outcomes. In this position, individuals are mostly independent. Confidently and articulately speaks in public and acts as a technical leader in customer interactions. Deep expertise in a specific industry practice in the Hexagon portfolio. Viewed by customers as a technical expert. Works closely with Hexagon Industry Consultants to develop meaningful customer presentations and demonstrations. Actively and regularly meets with and demonstrates Hexagon solutions to prospects and clients. Captures technical and work process requirements and translates them into a demonstratable workflow using Hexagon technologies. Maintains and adjusts demonstration systems, scripts, and data to fit various market opportunities. Provides technical support for marketing activities. Participates in the Go-to-Market ideation and development process. Keeps a close relationship with the product center and strategic teams to maintain expertise and early knowledge of new functionality, as well as providing industry feedback. Contributes to the technical content of proposals including architecture, estimating level of effort and scopes of work (SOWs).

Responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful customer presentations and demonstrations.
  • Meet with and demonstrate Hexagon solutions to prospects and clients.
  • Capture technical and work process requirements.
  • Maintain and adjust demonstration systems, scripts, and data.
  • Provide technical support for marketing activities.
  • Participate in the Go-to-Market ideation and development process.
  • Maintain close relationships with product center and strategic teams.
  • Contribute to the technical content of proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or related is highly desired.
  • Minimum of 5 years in technical sales including software and/or related consulting services.
  • Knowledgeable of solution delivery strategies such as on-premises, SaaS.
  • Ability to articulate integration capabilities, interoperability, and typical data flows.
  • Knowledgeable in web service integration technologies such as RESTful APIs.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Travel to customer and prospect sites as required (30-40% travel).

Nice-to-haves

  • Holistic view of Enterprise implementations, experience with HxGN IM (SDx, SPO, SPF) solutions.
  • On-hand industry experience with digital transformation initiatives.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Asset Information, Document Management Systems.
  • Experience presenting to various audience sizes and levels, including C-level audiences.
  • Familiarity with Web APIs and system integration concepts.
  • Knowledge of programming languages - Python, SQL, JavaScript.
  • Understanding of cloud technology and security.
  • Additional Languages - Spanish, Portuguese.
