CGI is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join our growing team supporting life science clients through end-to-end solution offerings and professional services. This individual must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This position is located in our Morristown, NJ or Cambridge, MA offices in a hybrid manner.

  • Design end-to-end solutions that meet business needs in an operationally and financially efficient manner
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and guidelines
  • Create and maintain current and target-state solution architecture roadmaps aligned with business needs and roadmaps
  • Orchestrate the delivery of interconnected technology components throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and product owners to define and implement solutions
  • Streamline and simplify existing architecture, delivering reusable services and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Establish strategic direction, choose technologies, and set architecture standards
  • Lead and participate in peer review and quality assurance of architectural artifacts through governance forums
  • Evaluate product usefulness and cost in the supplier selection process
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including security, scalability, and performance
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Understanding of the life sciences/pharma industry and its specific data architecture requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in solution architecture design and implementation, specializing in technologies such as Data Warehousing, Integrations, DevOps, CRMs, MDMs and public cloud services (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and patterns
  • Proven ability to translate functional requirements into technical/solution design, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Experience with GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations
  • Experience with Agile development and modern DevOps practices, with focus on security and quality
  • Detail-oriented, customer-driven, and able to work well across time zones on a global team
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player, fostering a positive and productive work environment
