About Versaterm Mindbase Versaterm Mindbase is a cutting-edge mental wellness platform purpose-built for first responders. Our mission is to provide proactive, confidential, and continuous support for the mental and emotional health of public safety professional, including law enforcement, fire, EMS, and 911 communications. We’re growing quickly and are seeking passionate advocates to help bring this transformative solution to the agencies that need it most. The Role The Solution Architect for Versaterm Mindbase serves as the technical and solution expert throughout the sales process, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams. This role translates the complex mental wellness challenges facing public safety agencies into clear, compelling solutions, demonstrating how Mindbase delivers meaningful outcomes while maintaining confidentiality, trust, and operational integrity. This role will play a critical role in discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, and RFP/RFI responses, ensuring agencies fully understand the value, security, and impact of the Mindbase platform. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles.
  • Experience supporting SaaS platforms, ideally within public safety, healthcare, GovTech, or wellness-focused solutions.
  • Strong understanding of public safety environments (law enforcement, fire, EMS, or 911) and their unique cultural and operational challenges.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and data-driven concepts with empathy and clarity.
  • Experience contributing to RFP/RFI responses and procurement-driven sales cycles.
  • Comfort presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, including command staff, wellness leaders, IT, and executive leadership.
  • Passion for mental wellness, mission-driven technology, and improving outcomes for first responders.
  • Due to the nature of our work with public safety agencies, this position requires compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. Candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check. Please note that specific customer contracts may impose additional security verification requirements. Obtaining and maintaining all required security clearances is a condition of employment. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary presales technical and solution expert for Versaterm Mindbase.
  • Lead discovery sessions with public safety agencies to understand mental wellness, peer support, leadership, and operational needs.
  • Design and present tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate Mindbase’s value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with Sales to develop solution strategies that align Mindbase capabilities with agency goals, policies, and cultural considerations.
  • Support RFP and RFI responses by providing accurate, compelling technical, security, and compliance content.
  • Articulate Mindbase’s approach to confidentiality, data security, and trust; critical factors for first responder adoption.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to relay market feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Assist in proof-of-concepts, pilots, and technical evaluations as needed.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, reinforcing Versaterm’s commitment to human-centered public safety technology.
