Role Overview
Advizex is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Solution Architect to join our Great Lakes team. This role is responsible for designing and delivering innovative IT solutions that align with client business objectives. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills and a consultative mindset to drive successful outcomes for our clients.
Candidates must be based in the Cleveland or Akron, OH metro areas. Up to 25% travel may be required.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in IT architecture, engineering, or consulting roles
• Strong expertise in hybrid/cloud platforms, data center infrastructure, networking, virtualization and security
• Experience designing and delivering complex, multi-technology solutions
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments and modernization strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to work in a client-facing, consultative role
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a value-added reseller (VAR), systems integrator, or consulting environment
• Relevant OEM certifications

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions
• Design end-to-end architectures across infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, and data center technologies
• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and solution presentations
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to develop proposals and statements of work (SOWs)
• Provide technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle—from pre-sales through implementation
• Ensure solutions align with industry best practices, compliance standards, and Advizex methodologies
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to solve client challenges
• Support account teams in identifying new opportunities within existing clients
