As a member of the Solution Architect Team, you will be responsible for designing, validating, and delivering robust mobile data collection solutions integrated with ERP (Deltek Costpoint, Oracle SCM Cloud, SAP, Oracle JDE, Oracle EBS etc.) systems. You will work closely with customers, sales teams, partners, product management, and implementation teams to ensure successful solution deployment that meets client business needs. While this role supports multiple ERP platforms, strong experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred. Your primary goal will be to help customers maximize the value of our platform while addressing their specific use cases and technical challenges. You will be a catalyst for effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment, and will invent mechanisms and processes for speed and scale in RFgen context.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing ERP-integrated solutions, preferably for supply chain, warehouse management, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong ERP functional knowledge in SCM domain in at least one of the following:
  • Deltek Costpoint (preferred)
  • SAP
  • Oracle E Business Suite
  • Oracle SCM Cloud
  • JD Edwards
  • Strong understanding of architectural standards, software development methodologies, and modeling techniques.
  • Experience integrating with ERP systems via APIs, web services, database integration, or middleware.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, inventory management, or government contracting environments.
  • Experience with Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and software development life cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven facilitation, influence, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop business/technical requirements and write technical specifications.
  • Willingness to travel for product demonstrations, design sessions, trainings etc., typically less than 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint in manufacturing or government contracting environments.
  • Exposure to warehouse mobile applications and data collection platforms.
  • Experience designing RFID, RTLS, or IoT-enabled tracking solutions.
  • Experience with custom application development and integration projects.
  • ERP certifications (Deltek, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience participating in RFP responses and presales solution.
  • Knowledge of compliance-heavy environments (DCAA, ITAR, regulated industries).

Responsibilities

  • Product Demo and Pre-Sales Support:
  • Engage with prospects and customers during pre-sales phases to understand their business needs.
  • Assist the Sales team in delivering tailored, high-impact product demonstrations showcasing RFgen’s mobile solutions.
  • Recommend additional services or RFgen licenses to address key business issues.
  • Solution Architecture and Consulting:
  • Consult with RFgen customers to document business requirements, develop functional and technical specifications used to customize core RFgen product and workflows.
  • Define integration strategies leveraging APIs, web services, database-level integrations, or middleware.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and performance-optimized mobile solutions.
  • Adopt AI-driven tools to streamline the creation of functional specifications, technical designs, and other project artifacts to improve delivery speed and accuracy.
  • Provide insight and influence to senior management on integrating requirements with current systems and processes.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through standardized tools, templates, and processes.
  • Define test strategies, perform QA to validate ERP-integrated RFgen applications against customer requirements, and deliver customer training on RFgen functionalities and custom solutions.
  • Project Leadership & Implementation:
  • Guide Implementation Engineers in developing custom RFgen apps and implementing technical solutions.
  • Support Project Managers with risk and issue identification, impact assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead customer workshops, design sessions, and training engagements.
  • Strategic Consulting:
  • Engage in RFPs for vendor evaluation and provide strategic guidance on ERP best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on mobile inventory management best practices.
  • Provide guidance on inventory accuracy, traceability, compliance (especially for government contractors using Deltek), and operational efficiency.
