About The Position

Nokia of America Corporation is seeking a Solution Architect for multiple positions in Murray Hill, NJ. The role involves developing unique customer architecture and contributing to overall technical solution design. The Solution Architect will design and execute integration, operations, or performance solutions in customer projects, influence the technical mindset of the customer during the sales process, and work as part of a bid team, coordinating the technical aspects of bids. The position requires ensuring customer requirements are accurately represented and presenting solution architecture and design to customers for verification while making necessary adaptations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of related work experience.
• 3 years of experience with Mobile Network, including 2G, 3G, and 4G.
• Experience in Solution Design Creation for SDM products.
• Experience in Solution Deployment and Solution Architecture Creation support.
• Proficiency in Operating Systems: Linux or Solaris.
• Networking troubleshooting experience using Wireshark.
• Experience with Virtualization: VMWare or OpenStack.
• Domestic travel up to 50% required.
• International travel up to 50% required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide input to develop unique customer architecture.

• Work as part of a bid team, coordinating the technical part of a bid.
• Support main customer consultant in solution team.
• Ensure customer requirements are accurately represented.
• Present solution architecture and design to customer for verification.
