About the position
As a Solution Architect at GDIT, you will develop solutions based on business and technical criteria to deliver on program organic growth. You will research current and emerging technologies and process methodologies, proposing changes based on customer or program needs. Your role will involve assessing existing system and business process architectures and working with staff to develop technology insertion proposals that offer enterprise improvements or savings. You will also be responsible for writing, researching, designing, developing, and updating proposals, analyzing RFP requirements, and coordinating with technical personnel to ensure accuracy. This position is crucial for securing new task order business by developing technical solutions and collaborating with various teams to meet technical and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions based on business and technical criteria.
- Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes based on customer needs.
- Assess existing system and business process architectures.
- Develop technology insertion proposals for enterprise improvements.
- Create proposal graphics, technical presentations, and cost estimate inputs.
- Identify customer requirements and analyze alternatives.
- Write, edit, and revise technical materials.
- Coordinate with technical personnel to ensure accuracy of proposals.
- Act as the proposal lead to secure new task order business.
- Collaborate with technical teams, finance, contracts, and program management.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance required.
- US Citizenship required.
