About The Position

Blue Yonder is seeking a Solution Architect for Supply Chain Planning focused on Discrete Manufacturing and Automotive Industries. This role combines the responsibilities of a Solutions Advisor and Functional Solution Architect, engaging with customers to understand their business processes and requirements. The position involves implementing Supply Chain Planning applications for Fortune 500 companies, including Automotive OEMs. The solutions include Production Planning and Scheduling, Order Slotting and Sequencing, Transportation Capacity Planning, and Vehicle Routing and Scheduling.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Demand/Production Planning or Supply Chain Planning.
  • 3+ years in the Automotive Supply Chain or Discrete Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and technical solutions related to Supply Chain Planning, especially within Discrete Manufacturing, Automotive or AutoT1 sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to define and articulate strategies, functional requirements, and use cases.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly or indirectly with customers to gather and analyze their business needs, translating them into tailored Blue Yonder solutions.
  • Work closely with customers to develop User Stories that encapsulate functional business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Partner with project teams to identify optimal technical solutions that meet customer business requirements, enhancing their supply chain operations.
  • Actively participate in pre-sales activities, including delivering compelling customer presentations, demonstrations, and sharing best practices to showcase the value of Blue Yonder solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including functional design and training materials, to support seamless implementation and user adoption.
  • Provide ongoing support for customer solutions and applications post-rollout, ensuring sustained value and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to derive and clarify requirements, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
