The Power Platform Architect will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic direction of the IT organization by defining a solution architecture framework for low-code applications. This position involves providing leadership and oversight for the design and development of Power Platform-based applications, ensuring alignment with core business functions and overall IT enterprise architecture. The architect will also be responsible for developing proof of concepts and minimal viable products to demonstrate the business value of Power Platform solutions.

  • Align and support the strategic direction of the broader IT organization.
  • Provide leadership, oversight, and guidance on scalable application design and development using Power Platform.
  • Define system, data, and application architecture across various backends and integrations.
  • Develop solution architecture frameworks for Power Platform-based solutions for core business functions.
  • Design, document, and maintain Power Platform processes, reporting on technical issues and making recommendations.
  • Establish a deep understanding of customer business and technical needs, communicating insights to the product team.
  • Provide thought leadership for new and emerging Microsoft solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience in IT or a related industry.
  • 4+ years of solution architecture experience with proven experience in application architecture or low/no-code app delivery.
  • 2+ years of experience designing software and hardware solutions using Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience in a team lead role through projects and work planning.
  • Proven experience supporting large complex projects to meet IT and business goals.
  • Strong experience aligning project solutions with corporate enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Advanced degree, e.g., Masters of Information Technology.
  • Relevant Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, D365, and/or Azure/AWS cloud.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, facilitation, relationship building, and negotiation skills.
