About The Position

CACI is looking for a Solution Architect Manager to be an integral part of the team implementing an enterprise IT service delivery model for our DoD customer. This role will focus on the implementation of solutions that deliver consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services designed to enable mission success and enhance the end-user experience. On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition from IT operations to mission operations. This role will ensure consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enhance mission success and improve end-user experience across the customer environment. The Solution Architect Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of developers, ensuring the successful design and implementation of new capabilities in alignment with Air Force requirements. As the Solutions Architect Manager, you will lead a high-performing Shared Service team of Power BI and visualization developers. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the team as they design and deliver critical reporting solutions across the enterprise. Your core responsibilities will include team leadership, where you will lead, mentor, and manage your team of developers to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. You will have project and design oversight, directing the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of new analytical tools, dashboards, and reports. This role requires significant stakeholder collaboration, partnering with Service Delivery Teams across the Engineering Division to build and maintain critical Operations and Health dashboards. You will establish technical governance by implementing and enforcing industry best practices for business intelligence to support the enterprise reporting environment in Microsoft 365. Furthermore, you will provide architectural guidance to internal teams, manage your team's capacity, and perform platform administration duties as a Site Collection Administrator for multiple SharePoint sites. Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (bachelor’s degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
  • Must have relevant experience managing teams, working in software development, or acting as a Solution Architect delivering COTS/GOTS and custom solutions.
  • One or more of the following certifications: AWS/Azure Cloud SA Professional, DoD 8570 Baseline Information Assurance Technical (IAT)-II level, ITIL Intermediate/Expert.
  • Proven experience in people management, including recruiting, hiring, and successfully onboarding new team members to ensure team cohesion and performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives for team processes and deliverables.
  • Hands-on experience developing and integrating solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Query) with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Technical proficiency with programming or scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, Bash, JavaScript, PowerFx, DAX) to assist in development and automation tasks.
  • Practical experience in SharePoint Site Collection Administration, including maintaining pages and lists while applying design and site-wide governance.
  • Experience working in a collaborative software development environment, ideally with exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Ability to perform domain group management to ensure user access and permissions are current and accurate.
  • Experience with version control solutions such as GitLab and Azure DevOps.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow and its various modules, particularly the SAFe module, and a proven ability to write comprehensive knowledge base articles.
  • Proficiency with CSS and experience manually editing HTML markup for site customization and content management.
  • Possess an active PMI PMP certification.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Agile frameworks such as Kanban or Scrum.
  • A strong background in preparing and managing common project management plans.
  • Solid understanding of software versioning control and documentation best practices.
  • Experience with the Deneb Power BI visual and developing custom visuals using Vega and Vega-Lite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a shared service team of developers, overseeing the production of Power BI dashboards and managing team capacity to fulfill service requests from various Service Delivery Teams.
  • Provide solution architecture leadership to Service Delivery Teams, guiding the design and technical refresh of developed tools and published reports.
  • Directing the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of new analytical tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Establish technical governance by implementing and enforcing industry best practices for business intelligence to support the enterprise reporting environment in Microsoft 365.
  • Manage your team's capacity, and perform platform administration duties as a Site Collection Administrator for multiple SharePoint sites.
