About The Position

The Solution Architect - Analytics at St. Luke's Health System is responsible for leading the architecture and strategy for analytics solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks. This role involves collaborating with various technical experts to establish process standards, communicate best practices, and serve as a champion for analytics within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a keen interest in the latest analytics practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years related experience in analytics solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing on-premise Power BI data gateway server.
  • Knowledge of Python, C#, or other coding languages.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Snowflake, or other lakehouse architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, or other code repositories.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with domain architects and technical experts to define architecture and strategy for analytics needs using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Databricks.
  • Design, implement, and maintain technical tools and processes for managing the Power BI environment.
  • Collaborate with Power BI developers and data engineers to establish process standards and best practices for Power BI development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Azure portal and Power BI gateway.
  • Conduct audits of existing analytics solutions to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor and co-develop with Power BI developers, focusing on performance optimization and strategy identification.
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert and champion for Power BI.
