About The Position
We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Drafter to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are accurate, functional, and ready for fabrication.
Requirements
- Experience using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing or fabrication processes preferred
- Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop and revise engineering drawings, layouts, and schematics
- Interpret design concepts, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability
- Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly drawings
