Local manufacturing company is seeking a SolidWorks CAD Draft for our sheet metal manufacturing operation in Topton, PA. A strong family-owned manufacturing operation with over 60 years of tradition in the Topton, PA area is searching for a dynamic Drafting Engineer to play a key part in leading the company into the future. - A background in manufacturing and or sheet metal is a plus
Responsibilities
- Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis
- Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing
- Estimate material and production costs for designs
- Programming Punch Presses and Laser Cutters for Projects
- Being organized enough to clean up files and online drafts
- Learning new software
- Sheet Metal fabrication
- SolidWorks 3D Modeling
