  • Gain practical experience by contributing to real-world solid waste projects
  • Participate in mentorship and young professionals programs, connecting with recent graduates and company leaders
  • Assist in applying standard engineering techniques and procedures to projects
  • Complete assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed professional engineer or project manager
  • Perform additional duties as required to support project objectives
  • Support onsite condition assessments and outage activities associated with waste to energy facilities
  • Support onsite condition assessments and operational evaluations at landfill facilities, assisting with inspection documentation, environmental compliance reviews, and maintenance planning activities.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline, with at least 2 years completed and a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Demonstrated interest about solid waste management
  • Familiarity with engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, WaterCAD, GIS, or other relevant packages
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
