The College of Engineering and Technology offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at our Phoenix campus. GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ: Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2026 Semester (01/05/2026 - 04/26/2026) Course: Solid Mechanics & Lab This course covers concepts and theories of internal force, stress, strain, and strength of structural elements under static loading conditions. The course also examines constitutive behavior for linear elastic structures and deflection and stress analysis procedures for bars, beams, and shafts. Students will examine and analyze various modes of failure of solid materials. GCU's Christian worldview has shaped the university's mission and growth for more than 65 years. Requirements

  • Minimum: Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or related discipline
