Please visit our website for more detail and to meet our team. www.altekelectronics.com Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Solderer I at Altek Performs a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions in one or more of the following areas: Component prep and placement on PCBs. Hand solder through-hole components and/or wires to PCBs. Demonstrate ability to solder while using a magnifying glass. Performs trim touch up and basic rework on PCBs as a result of inspection criteria and/or feedback. Wash/Clean PCBs as required. Assists in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations. Performs routine work within area of specialization. Selects appropriate processes from clearly documented rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from manager. Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements

  • Good eyesight and hand coordination
  • Ability to read & understand assembly prints
  • Ability to solder using magnification
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work.
  • Solderer I - Typically, up to 2 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Essential Duties & Responsibilities as presented above.
