We’re seeking a Solder-Assembly Technician for our Exton, PA location. If you have strong soldering skills and enjoy working on high-quality electronic components, this role offers an opportunity to grow and cross-train in a collaborative environment. Schedule: 7am-3:30pm
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with PCB assembly and soldering techniques
- Ability to solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components
- Familiarity with ESD handling requirements and electronic components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Can perform repetitive tasks with attentiveness.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and engage with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing.
- Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)
Nice To Haves
- IPC 610/620/JSTD certifications
- Six to twenty-four (6-24) months of industrial experience or similar training is preferred.
- 3+ years of soldering/assembly experience
Responsibilities
- Perform precision soldering and de-soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
- Assemble and inspect PCB assemblies per IPC-A-610 standards.
- Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, and solder pots.
- Work from drawings and process documentation to complete assemblies.
- Operate SMT pick-and-place machines and prepare sub-assemblies for production.
- Maintain accurate documentation and a clean work station.
