About The Position

This position sits within NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. This individual will perform the maintenance, electrical & mechanical day to day operations at Sky Ranch Solar near Belen, New Mexico. The main focus of the job is to perform mirror and HCE tube cleaning. The position is part of a six-man crew. The team will have to be proficient in operating the mirror-washing equipment, including tractor operation, water truck operation, and mirror-washing brush equipment. When mirror wash cannot be accomplished, the team will be utilized to perform site clean-up or minor maintenance on mirror wash equipment.

Requirements

• High School Grad / GED
• Experience: 0+ years
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Responsibilities

• Washing of Mirror Panels with mirror washing equipment
• Washing of Heat collecting elements with washing equipment
• Perform minor repairs on washing equipment as needed
• Perform site clean-up when necessary
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
