About The Position
NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a dedicated Solar Utility Technician for the Saint Solar facility located in Coolidge, AZ. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing solar facilities, ensuring that they operate efficiently and safely. The technician will be part of a six-man crew responsible for various tasks, including the cleaning of mirror panels and heat collecting elements, as well as performing minor repairs on washing equipment when necessary. The role requires proficiency in operating specialized mirror-washing equipment, including tractors and water trucks, to ensure the solar panels are kept in optimal condition. In addition to cleaning duties, the technician will also be involved in routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and site clean-up activities when mirror washing cannot be performed. Safety is a top priority, and the technician will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards while identifying and addressing any safety hazards that may arise during operations.
