About The Position
As a Solar Technician at Invenergy, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of Solar and Battery Storage project sites located outside of Darien, WI. This position is essential for ensuring that the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) function effectively to balance the supply and demand of energy. Your responsibilities will include performing routine mechanical and electrical maintenance, conducting inspections on associated equipment, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while working in various weather conditions. You will be expected to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, repair or replace components as necessary, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The role requires a commitment to working a 40-hour week, with the possibility of scheduled and unscheduled overtime during peak maintenance periods. You will also support BESS and Solar sites throughout the Midwest, contributing to Invenergy's mission of creating a cleaner energy future.
