About The Position

The SGON Solar Sales Representative is responsible for generating leads, conducting site assessments, and educating potential customers about solar energy solutions. This role involves evaluating client energy needs, designing customized solar systems, presenting financing options, and guiding customers through the sales process. The representative also maintains customer relationships post-installation and tracks sales progress while staying informed about industry trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the energy or solar industry.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software is a plus.
  • Multilingual capabilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for building rapport.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges in the sales process.
