About The Position

As a Solar Project Coordinator, you will manage the customer project experience from contracted sale through file archiving. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Installations, Sales (or Prime Contractor), and Service teams to guide each project through the pipeline efficiently and professionally. You’ll also support the construction process for residential and small utility photovoltaic systems, including ancillary electrical services and structural upgrades — coordinating both in-house and subcontracted crews.

  • Detail-oriented with strong computer skills
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and technical equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials/equipment up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to bend, reach, and walk through warehouse/shop areas as needed
  • Ability to safely navigate storage and work areas

Nice To Haves

  • Become familiar with solar equipment brands such as Enphase and SolarEdge (preferred, not required)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage solar customer projects from signed contract through completion and file closure
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams
  • Provide regular project updates and communicate timelines clearly
  • Coordinate scheduling with clients, technicians, and installation crews
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including warranty documents and Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
  • Become familiar with solar equipment brands such as Enphase and SolarEdge (preferred, not required)
  • Process billing and invoicing related to completed projects
  • Ensure warranty information and manufacturer documentation are properly filed and submitted
  • Pull equipment required for service calls and installations
  • Assist with inventory management and monthly counts
  • Order materials and track deliveries to support scheduled work
