About The Position

Moss Solar, the #1 Solar EPC Contractor of 2025 , is hiring Equipment Operators to support our growing solar projects. This is a traveling Solar PD10 Operator role supporting projects across New Mexico and Texas. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and can handle physical labor in various weather conditions, apply today! Key Responsibilities: Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and telehandlers on solar project sites. Perform site grading, trenching, and material movement as needed. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition. Assist with general labor duties, including material handling and site cleanup. Maintain clear communication with site leadership and crew members to ensure efficient operations. Follow all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment (solar or construction experience preferred). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for 8+ hrs a day. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme cold or heat). Willingness to travel for solar projects across New Mexico and Texas. Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety. Pre-employment drug test required. Other duties as assigned.
