About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar panels on residential properties. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous experience in solar panel installation or related field preferred
• Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading
• Familiarity with low voltage systems and wiring techniques
• Ability to work at heights and on rooftops in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures according to project specifications
• Ensure proper placement and alignment of panels for maximum energy efficiency
• Connect panels to electrical systems, following NEC guidelines and local building codes
• Install fixtures, wiring, and electrical components as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
• Test and troubleshoot solar panel systems to ensure proper functioning
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
