About The Position
The Operations Technician for Solar will be responsible for operating and maintaining utility-scale solar photovoltaic electric systems at Southern Power's facilities in Taylor County, Georgia. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as maintaining plant maintenance records and participating in operational review teams. Shift work, including nights, is required, and the position will be filled based on the candidate's experience level.
