We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and roofing, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a solar installer or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to solar installations.
  • Experience with roofing techniques is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems may be beneficial for integrated installations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground mounts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
  • Perform electrical work including high -voltage and low -voltage connections in accordance with NEC standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and trenchers safely and effectively.
  • Conduct fixture installations and ensure all components are securely mounted.
  • Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation or testing phases.
