About The Position

Solar Gain is seeking a motivated Solar Installer to join our growing installation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning from experienced technicians, and building clean energy solutions that make a difference.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
• Rooftop solar experience preferred (construction or electrical experience is a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable working on rooftops and climbing ladders for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist with rooftop solar installations, including module layout, mounting, and wiring (AC/DC)
• Review job plans and support Crew Leads with daily installation tasks
• Seal roof penetrations and install monitoring equipment
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and help document completed work
• Attend training sessions on safety, products, and installation methods
• Follow OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and all company safety protocols
