About The Position
The Solar Installer - Electrical Apprentice position in Denver, CO, is a full-time apprenticeship role that involves supporting the installation team in the setup of solar arrays and systems. The primary responsibility of the Solar Installer is to assist the crew lead by ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires effective communication with the Field Supervisor regarding job status and progress, ensuring that all tasks are performed in a professional manner. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are looking to gain hands-on experience in the solar installation field. As part of the installation team, the Solar Installer will be involved in various tasks, including the layout and assembly of mounting hardware and solar modules. This includes mechanical and structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment, as well as the electrical wiring of solar arrays (DC). The installer will also be responsible for documenting completed installations and ensuring that the job site is cleaned up after work is completed. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic role that offers opportunities for learning and growth in the renewable energy sector.
