About The Position

The Field Sales Representative works to acquire new customers, manage new sales opportunities, and grows the Fronius market shares sustainably. This position collaborates with the salesforce of our partners to pursue opportunities to increase sales as well as supports installers with Fronius Solar Energy solutions based on a customer’s specific needs which are identified via consultative selling methods. Location: Southeast Pennsylvania/ Southern New York

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business administration or a business-related field from an Accredited University or College required
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a sales environment required
  • 2+ years of Solar installation or technical experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
  • Professional training in consultative sales techniques preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM database preferred
  • Comfortable interacting with multiple stakeholders from different departments, including sales, technical and operations
  • Geographically located in, or able to relocate within, the appropriate sales territory
  • Work effectively under pressure while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Proactive with effective customer presentation skills
  • Team player with a high degree of self-direction, initiative, and motivation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a valid passport, or have the ability to obtain and pay for a valid passport
  • Authorized to work and travel in the US and internationally
  • Possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle license
  • Regular Travel
  • Must comply with all safety and health standards established by Fronius USA, LLC and federal, state, or local requirements
  • Ability to bend and reach with repetitive motion
  • Hearing naturally or with aids
  • Vision 20/20 with or without correction
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing, use of hands to manipulate objects, talking, hearing, looking, typing, walking, twisting, and bending

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of Solar installation or technical experience preferred
  • Professional training in consultative sales techniques preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM database preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages complex sales opportunities by assessing the customers’ technology needs, identifying pain-points, and providing the best Fronius design solution for solar installers.
  • Establishes new prospects through trade shows, customer visits, inbound leads, and other interactions.
  • Researches prospects and opportunities to determine potential sales and fit of our product lines and services.
  • Works closely with the salesforce of our partners to develop and pursue opportunities.
  • Works directly with solar installers within the assigned region/s to help strategically identify needs and present optimal solutions.
  • Demonstrates and endorses Fronius’ technical solutions and capabilities to customers during meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to provide customers with the most valuable solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Develops reports of account overviews/organization models.
  • Positions as a key partner for business and future projects.
  • Supports and develops Fronius Solutions Providers through a consultative sales approach.
  • Meets and/or exceeds annual sales goals while remaining within expense budget guidelines.
  • Provides continuous feedback regarding products, features, prices, customer feedback, competitors, and market trends, etc. to both Management and Product Management.
  • Utilizes and updates the CRM system.
  • Keeps accurate records of sales opportunities, customer contacts, and account information.
  • Monitors customers and markets for potential shortcomings in the product portfolio and communicates these to national Solutions Management.
  • Promotes Fronius’ vision of 24 Hours of Sun and fosters long-term partnerships with solar installers.
  • Represents Fronius Way in a professional manner and upholds the Fronius Way Philosophy.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
