We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Solar Electrical Supervisor to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Solar Electrical Supervisor with expertise in Solar Electric, Non-Solar Electric, Servicing, and DOB Inspections. to oversee our field electrical and servicing teams. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, the ability to manage multiple teams, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and efficiency improvement. This role serves as the primary technical contact for the Account Management and Project Management teams, ensuring that all preparatory and post-installation work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on residential electrical and solar experience, including service upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of NY NEC, utility requirements, safety standards, and inspection processes
  • Proven experience with Enphase and SolarEdge systems, including commissioning and monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field crews, manage multiple jobs, and make real-time decisions on active sites
  • Field-ready and solutions-oriented, comfortable on ladders and roofs, with strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead field crews on MPUs, panel relocations, feeder replacements, and service upgrades to bring homes up to code
  • Supervise solar electrical installations and commissioning (Enphase, SolarEdge)
  • Ensure projects are inspection-ready and pass electrical and utility inspections
  • Oversee troubleshooting and service work to resolve electrical and production issues
  • Manage, train, and hold electrical and service teams accountable to safety, quality, and performance standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management to resolve field issues and maintain efficient project flow
  • Maintain clear job documentation and reporting, supporting accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement
