CTL Engineering is hiring for a Lab Technician / Geologist for our Soils Lab!

Entry level/new grads in Geology are encouraged to apply!

 Highlights:

This role will initially report to our Soils Lab located on Fisher Rd (west Columbus). 
It is estimated that in late 2026/early 2027, the new labs will be built and the role will then be based out of our new Corporate HQ in New Albany.

Requirements

• Geologist (or training in this discipline) is a strong plus, but is not required.
• Entry level/new grads in Geology are encouraged to apply!
• Experience in laboratory analysis and soil sample collecting.

Responsibilities

• Performs various laboratory tests to determine soil properties, such as particle size distribution, compaction, and strength.
• Accurately records test results and prepares reports, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Operates and maintains laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Adheres to strict safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory environment.
• Collaborates with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to provide relevant soil information.
