About The Position

The Soil Operator/Truck Off Loader position at Vestis Services involves working in an industrial laundry facility or warehouse environment. Requirements

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Unloads trucks and verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card.
• Segregates like items together in a sling.
• Helps maintain proper inventories of high-use items to ensure 100% load fill rates daily.
• Identifies counts and totals of ruined or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment, observing best practices in all production activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
