About The Position

The purpose of the Soil Janitor role is to maintain the cleanliness of the entire plant, both inside and outside. This includes keeping the facility as lint-free and clean as possible, emptying waste receptacles, and recycling plastic bags in the soil sort area. The role requires adherence to standard operating procedures and meeting quality standards.

Requirements

Be on time
Have excellent attendance
Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
Possess and maintain a positive attitude
Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of the entire plant inside and outside
Maintain the cleanliness of the plant, outside parking lot and grounds around the building
Keep the entire facility as lint free and clean as possible
Empty waste receptacles
Recycle plastic bags in soil sort
Follow standard operating procedures
Meet quality standards
Meet established cleaning procedures
Follow all company safety rules
Follow all company policies and procedures
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
Cross-train in other positions per production needs
