About The Position
The Soil and Chem Lab Tech will assist with the processing and extraction of humic acid from lignite samples and the preparation of dried samples for chemical analysis. The Lab Tech may also be tasked with identifying biological materials in samples using a scanning electron microscope. Some field work and sample collection may also be required. All other duties are assigned unique to the department. Responsible for the personal safety and the safety of others. This position is security sensitive.
