We are seeking a highly qualified Software/Web Developer to join a mission-focused team that maintains applications, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and support services. The effort requires the maintenance and enhancement of an application and underlying services while identifying future capability needs and eliminating overlaps. The team will continuously improve sustainment and development to reinvest resources to provide new capabilities and improve the effectiveness, quality, and robustness of the underlying technology.

  • Support software and web architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration with new systems
  • Interact with customers and development team to gather and define requirements
  • Maintain and operate a scalable, reliable, and efficient Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering
  • Analyze and study customer requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy their needs
  • Design, create, test, and maintain software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements
  • Follow a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and adhere to laws, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications
  • Coordinate creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design
  • Design and develop visually pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation
  • Develop and maintain software and web development technical documentation to assist with software and web application maintenance and upgrades
  • Provide software process management and configuration management throughout the software/web development lifecycle
  • Participate in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications
  • Participate in DevSecOps processes and practice principles during all design phases
  • Perform root cause analysis and make recommendations for technical issues
  • Support and troubleshoot scripts written in Python and bash
  • Implement security measures, including access controls and encryption
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline software delivery processes and to ensure improvements align with organizational goals
  • Must meet one of the following: High School Diploma/GED and 12+ years of experience, Associate’s degree and 10+ years of experience, Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience, PhD and 4+ years of experience
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Possess and maintain IAT Level II Certification (Security+)
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science and 8 years of work experience
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project on a development team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and motivation to learn new things
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery
  • Must be analytical and effectively able to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues
  • Strong risk management skills, excellent communication, teamwork and conflict management skills
  • Proficiency in Linux, Git, and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to read documentation and find solutions to technical issues independently
  • Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with software such as VS Code and GitLab
  • Experience using Angular, NodeJS, and Linux CLI
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python
