The Software Testing & Quality Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of uniform testing programs across KFB’s systems. This role will lead and direct multiple program and project test teams to ensure testing and quality assurance best practices are created and adopted to support KFB’s project portfolio. Additional responsibilities include providing leadership and strategy development within the quality assurance function to continuously grow our quality assurance competencies at KFB. Broad experience in testing methodologies such as automation, manual, regression and performance testing practices are a must, and the role will require a reliance on experience and judgement to plan, manage and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Create and manage a comprehensive test plan for large programs for distributed and mainframe computer technologies; Implement best practices of testing methodologies; Create and execute automated test scripts to ensure automation coverage across computer applications; Evaluate results of test cases; Prepare data sets to test system workflows; Provide test coverage analysis; Maintain Automation Test Framework; Develop automated regression tests for test framework; Investigate failed automation tests; Build and maintain test automation infrastructure; Lead software performance test implementation; Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber automation frameworks; Use SOAP UI and Postman tools for API testing. A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, applied computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, or electronics or electrical engineering and five years’ post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Testing and Quality Engineer or Automation Test Lead are required. Proficiency in building and maintaining automation scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber automation frameworks as shown by 5 years of experience in these areas is required. Proficiency in using SOAP UI and Postman tools for API testing by 5 years of experience in these areas is required.
