About The Position

cFocus Software seeks a Software Tester to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience performing software testing for enterprise applications. Experience testing web-based and database-driven systems. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management. Experience working in Agile development environments. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation Duties: Execute manual test cases for DSAID application enhancements, bug fixes, and system updates. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across environments. Validate system changes against documented requirements and acceptance criteria. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Government stakeholders. Identify, document, and track defects using approved defect tracking tools. Re-test resolved defects to verify successful remediation. Support data validation and reporting accuracy verification. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, RMF, STIG, Privacy Act, and Section 508 requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, systems analysts, and QA engineers. Develop and maintain test documentation, test results, and status reports. Support release readiness reviews and post-deployment validation activities

Requirements
