About The Position

Software Tester needed: Scottsdale, AZ. We have an opening with a great client of ours and we are looking for an Advanced Test Engineer to work in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a 1 year contract position , and you must be a US Citizen to apply. Required: US Citizenship and Residency, W2 hourly Contract Only, No 1099, No third parties, no C2C. No exceptions (Sorry) Pay: 60 to $68.25/hr. D.O.E. - Top Secret Clearance Preferred but not Required at Hire SOFTWARE TESTER As a Tracking Systems Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your contributions will be vital to the success and innovation of the program.

  • Proficient in documenting system designs, configurations, and procedures
  • Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and design behavior
  • Experience with ground pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads
  • Experience with tracking IR payload or ground mission data transport, handling, and analysis
  • Experience decomposing high-level space-ground systems design into ground software/systems design
  • Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as CAMEO or MagicDraw
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
  • Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
