MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT GDIT is seeking a highly skilled Software Tester/Validator to join our dynamic team supporting the USAREUR-AF Office of Knowledge Management (OKM) in Wiesbaden, Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated software testing, with expertise in validating solutions built on Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform and SPFx applications. This role requires familiarity with Agile development methodologies, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering secure, high-quality software solutions. Execute manual testing for applications built on the Microsoft tech stack, including .NET, SharePoint and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with requirements. Research, design, and implement automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to project requirements. Identify, document, and report software defects, bugs, and inconsistencies using Azure DevOps. Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes or fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality Assist end-users during UAT by providing guidance, addressing issues, and ensuring successful validation of software solutions. Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including end-user guides and detailed test reports. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication, issue resolution, and alignment with project goals. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure continuous delivery and improvement. The Software Developer must have: Education: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience software testing, including manual and automated. Security Clearance Level: Secret Level Security Clearance. Required Skills: Extensive experience in manual software testing, including the creation and execution of test cases. Hands-on experience implementing automated testing frameworks. Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and its testing methodologies. Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools. Experience in performing functional testing. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: DoD 8140 Certification, such as a CompTIA Security+ CE certification U.S. Citizenship required Must be approved for German TESA This is an onsite position working in a customer environment Desired Skills: Experience building solutions using the Office 365 platform Experience working collaboratively within an Agile development team. Experience building custom business applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus. Experience with Palantir applications such as Vantage or Maven. The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
