Primary Location: United States (US) - North Dakota - Function: Product Engineering (CA) Title: Software Test Infrastructure Engineer - 119770 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Software Test Infrastructure Engineer within the Power Electronics Test Infrastructure Software team at John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) in Fargo, North Dakota, you will... Be part of a team dedicated to test infrastructure for power electronics products, such as Inverters and Converters. You will design solutions for HIL testing including setting up new HIL machines, implementing new HIL features for testing, and supporting existing infrastructure. This position requires strong technical competency in software design, great ability to interface with stakeholders, and significant knowledge of the HW/SW interface. VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in embedded software testing
  • 1 or more years working with test hardware (such as HIL)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven skills in quickly diagnosing and resolving software/electronics issues
  • Experience with CAN and J1939
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Computer, Agricultural, or Mechanical).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with test automation using NI and ETAS HILs
  • Experience with power electronics
  • Experience with control systems (e.g. electro-mechanical control or electro-hydraulic control systems)
  • Experience using Python and C#
  • Exposure to Agile software development methodologies
