Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapons has an opening for a Software Test Engineering Product Owner 4 with an active clearance, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate for this position is required to be on-site in one of the following locations based on need: Northridge, CA, Linthicum, MD, or Tucson, AZ. As an integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced Weapons, you will be on the forefront of developing next generation solutions to protect technology for our nation’s warfighters. The ideal candidate will be supporting one of our programs for defining and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position will require close collaboration with team members of other projects within the organization for security architecture designs as well as external partners and customers.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in C++, Java or similar object-oriented (OO) languages
• Having experience working in Agile Framework
• Experience as a Product Owner and overseeing requirements for various programs
• Work with Scrum Masters and Leads for Project timelines and task deadlines
• Writing Software Test Plans and Test Descriptions and running tests
• Comfortable working in a lab environment and operating hardware and testing software at a system level
• Running post processing procedures and documenting findings
• Work with multiple teams simultaneously
• Collaborating with Stakeholders and Government customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 8 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 6 years of related experience and 4 years of related experience with PhD.
• Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Agile Product Owner experience
• Proficiency in C++ or any object-oriented (OO) programming language
• Current U.S. Government DoD Interim Secret security clearance

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with automation or analysis
• Multi-core and multi-threaded programming
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools
• Comfortable working in a lab environment
• Familiar using test equipment (Oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)
• Current U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance adjudicated within the past 5 years
