About The Position

In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of a software Test team where you'll learn the essentials of embedded software testing techniques, including software test plan development, test automation, system understanding and CI/CD processes. You will gain knowledge of the following: • Foundational software test methodologies, development processes, and quality life-cycle • Embedded software validation from a system and end-product perspective • Test automation development using Python, including frameworks, scripting, and debug tools • Techniques to identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and debug system-level software issues • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure, automated regression, and test reporting • TI device architecture, embedded Software Development Kits (SDKs), and platform-level validation As part of your job, you will also get exposure to other roles such as: Software Development, Software Applications and Software Systems through formal learning, projects and on-the-job development experiences that will help you broaden your knowledge and accelerate your growth and success at TI.
