The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with experience in ensuring the quality of both front-end and back-end components in production systems. As a Quality Engineer, this role is critical in designing, developing, and executing tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of professional experience in software development and testing.
  • Proven expertise in testing both front-end and back-end components in production systems.
  • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies and plans for front-end and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Perform regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
  • Review and analyze system specifications and code to identify potential quality issues.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient build and deployment processes.
  • Test RESTful APIs and validate data across relational and NoSQL databases.
