About The Position

The JASSM System of Delivery IT&E engineer is responsible for planning and execution of software HWIL testing. The Engineer will play a major role in all program reviews including but not limited to design assurance reviews, technical interchange meetings, test readiness reviews, working group meetings and failure review boards (if required). The position reports to the Program's Development Test Lead and will provide day-to-day interface with various IPTs, including Systems Engineering, GNC, Production, Software, Electrical and Mechanical Design, as well as Program Managers and Customer Program Offices. Experience in missile development and testing is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. The successful candidate will be required to communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer. The engineer must have an active SECRET security clearance and it is PREFERRED that the employee's investigation is in scope (investigation performed within the past 5 years). Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with a technical engineering Bachelor's Degree or 0 with a technical Master's degree
  • Experience with hardware/software
  • Experience in a fast-paced, team oriented, rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent technical writing, planning and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime & occasional travel (<10%), supporting off-shifts and weekends as needed
  • Must have a Secret Clearance
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

  • Debugging experience using telemetry, data collection & data reduction
