About The Position

Software Test Automation Engineer - GWS On-site in Huntsville, AL Target salary range: $70,000 - $120,000 Active Secret Clearance Required to Start Responsibilities: Develop and enhance software test automation frameworks for system and integration-level testing Support requirements verification and validation (V&V) efforts across complex weapon system software Write, maintain, and debug test software primarily using Java and C++ Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot test software in Linux environments (RHEL 8 preferred) Collaborate with engineers across the IDT to integrate test automation into the development lifecycle Utilize version control and defect tracking tools to support disciplined software development Qualifications: Federal Law requires U.S. Citizenship Education Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field from an accredited university 2+ years of relevant professional experience Security / Citizenship Active Secret security clearance (required) U.S. Citizenship required Experience & Technical Skills Professional software development experience using Java and C++ Experience with Git for source control Hands-on experience deploying and supporting software in Linux environments (RHEL preferred) Experience using Eclipse IDE Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns Preferred Qualifications: Missile Defense or Ground Weapons System domain knowledge Experience with MySQL for database management and data retrieval Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket) Security+ certification Experience with Ada programming Familiarity with software containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer What to Expect Moseley Technical Services, Inc. Requirements

  • Federal Law requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field from an accredited university
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience

  • Professional software development experience using Java and C++
  • Experience with Git for source control
