About The Position

We are an electronic medical records software company headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida, seeking a long-term, talented, and motivated full-time Technical Support Specialist. This position will primarily consist of telephone and remote access support, focusing on providing exceptional service to our clients. The role involves software installation, troubleshooting diagnostic equipment, and device integrations, as well as addressing technical and training-related issues. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting bugs and feature requests, submitting them to developers for review, and recommending hardware and software solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and installing Microsoft Windows Server systems, with at least four years of positive experience in the field. This includes expertise in Active Directory, network and workstation best practices, server fault tolerance, and backup best practices. The role also requires effective communication skills to interact with clients and end-users, as well as experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database maintenance. In addition to technical skills, the candidate should possess exceptional troubleshooting abilities and a professional demeanor. The position may require rare travel for onsite installations or trade shows, and candidates may be subject to drug testing.
