About The Position

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Software Technical Analyst (Associate or Experienced) to support our Vertical Lift Software Development Team located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Engineering organization. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced Level Software Engineers. The Vertical Lift Software Development team develops software solutions for the V-22 Osprey and H-47 Chinook. You will work as a member of a growing team to implement and document software designs, analyze data, and generate metrics. Languages may include Ada, C, C++, C#, Python, and Java. Operating systems include Windows and Linux. Additional tools include Microsoft Office and the Atlassian suite of software development tools. Requirements

• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages, tools, and applications
• 2+ years of experience with engineering development lifecycle tasks (requirements, design, software, test, and integration)
• 2+ years of experience working in engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• 2+ years of experience with technical writing and/or process documentation

Nice To Haves

• 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience learning new tools, following detailed processes and instructions, and communicating results in both written and verbal formats
• Experience writing technical documentation.
• Experience with Software Requirements, Development and Testing.
• Experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Python, Java, SQL, LabView, DOORS, Agile, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), or Git.

Responsibilities

• Use software tools to generate software products (e.g., design documents, requirement specifications, software builds) and solve problems.
• Collect and input process data to support software metrics.
• Gather and analyze data to support assessment of software performance/function.
• Support the integration of software components and hardware-software integration by executing test procedures.
• Execute basic tests and document results to verify software performance and function.
• Construct, document and test moderately complex software code using software development environment tools and programming languages.
